[Review] The Dream Thieves by Maggie Stiefvater

After several weeks, I’m finally back with a review! I haven’t had that much time to read this past month but I’m so glad to say that I really enjoyed the books that I did read, especially the second book in the Raven Cycle by Maggie Stiefvater. I sometimes find it a little challenging to type out a review on a book I adore as much as I do this one, simply because all the feelings I have for it are so overwhelming and jumbled that it can be hard to put into words. Down below I will do my best to describe what’s going on in my head in an orderly way, instead of just gushing on and on about the sheer awesomeness that is The Dream Thieves, but please bear with me at points where I just can’t help myself 😉

There are three kinds of secrets. One is the sort everyone knows about, the sort you need at least two people for. One to keep it. One to never know. The second is a harder kind of secret: one you keep from yourself. Every day, thousands of confessions are kept from their would-be confessors, none of these people knowing that their never-admitted secrets all boil down to the same three words: I am afraid. (page 1)

Keep reading, there’s more!

[Rezension] The Raven Boys von Maggie Stiefvater

[Review] The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater

Why, oh, why haven’t I read this sooner? I think I may have found a new favorite series and I’ve only just read the first book, I loved it that much. The Raven Cycle by Maggie Stiefvater is a fairly popular tetralogy and, as always, I didn’t read it right when it was published. Now that I’m on it, though, I’m hooked. If you want to see why I enjoyed The Raven Boys so much, keep reading.
